Did you know that 90% of your long-term happiness is predicted by the way your brain processes the world? If you change your formula for happiness and success you can change your reality. So what does this mean exactly? It means by your believing that change is possible or not determines if you will change in any specific area of your life. In order to change anything your health, happiness, success, etc your brain must have already painted a picture of your reality where change is possible for you. If your brain hasn't painted that picture yet change won't be able to occur.
There is a famous quote that says, "thoughts become things" which is something so true but yet so many of us overlook. In order for you to change your life in all or one areas you first have to start with your mind. I know you want to get to taking action and "doing" things but that won't get you the results for long-term change you deeply desire.
When looking at your mind, your thoughts, and the established attitudes you hold around things is referred to as mindset. This is a term you are likely to hear me speak on a great deal. Mindset is simply your mental attitude that predetermines your responses, it's an inclination.
If your mental attitude predetermines your responses then it becomes quite clear that what we think about and how we think about things is the driving force behind the life we create for ourselves. It's extremely important that you become aware of your mindset as it is currently so that you can see the areas that need improvements. We all need to work on our mindset it's a lifelong practice. In order to live a life we've always wanted we need to think that it is possible and change the way we think and do things on a day-to-day basis.
