Little Miss Doubt

Could your nickname be little Miss Doubt?

I know it could have very easily been mine for extended periods of time. Which is probably why doubt has been on my heart and mind a great deal lately.

Self-doubt means having a lack of confidence in your own ability to rely on, depend on, trust your own motives, personality, thoughts, actions, etc., according to dictionary.com.

Knowing that let's take this perspective, God created YOU! He gave you your physical body, your personality, your characteristics, your heart, your brain and everything in between. He even knows how many strands of hair are on your head which I find quite impressive. He created every part of you intentionally. You were not some last minute project put together on a whim. Before you were even conceived God created you for a specific purpose in life.  You are not an accident you are here for a reason and the sooner you know this truth the better off your life will be.

When you doubt yourself you are doubting God. Let me say that again when you doubt yourself you are doubting God! You may not be where you want to be in life at this very moment and I can definitely relate to that feeling, in fact, I believe most of us have been there at some point in our lives. But you have to remember God is bigger, wiser, and all knowing and trust that He can and will help you, trust that He made you for an amazing reason.

Think about it like this. Let's say you created this stunning masterpiece. It was like nothing that ever existed, it was above all things, you had also given it high levels of thinking and feeling. You had given it specific and unique talents, purpose and gifts. Then later on you noticed that your stunning masterpiece no longer believed it was amazing. All the thought, love and wisdom that you had poured into this masterpiece and here it was doubting it's value and abilities. What would you want your masterpiece to see, do, feel and understand?

You are a masterpiece in God's eyes even when you feel like you have completely failed. God created you and He did a PERFECT job how could He not, after all, He created this entire world! Think about it the God that created our entire universe created YOU intentionally!

Stop doubting yourself and God and instead start taking the necessary baby steps to gaining confidence in God's abilities to help you be all that He created you to be. Lean on God, go to Him, seek Him daily, ask Him questions often. Ask Him to reveal your strengths, your purpose, and your life's mission. Ask Him to help you where you are weak and to show you the next step He wants you to take.

Our days here are numbered and go by far faster than we ever realize. Do you want to have your life flash before your eyes followed by a huge sense of regret all because you didn't trust what God gave you? Or be lying on your death bed thinking about all the opportunities you passed up because you didn't trust God would help you?

I know I don't want that. I don't want to look God in the face and say I'm sorry I failed to fulfill my purpose because I was simply to scared to follow you. I'm sorry I failed to fulfill my purpose because I didn't want to give up the things of the world. I'm sorry I wasted my time, my talents and my gifts while on earth. I'm sorry the people you sent me to help are still hurting because I never made it out of my comfort zone to help them.

I'm going to give it to you straight sometimes sorry isn't good enough.

Until next time...

Blessings, Love & Gratitude,

Xo Staci
